We would like to welcome Uheina-i-leilani H. and her family: husband- Clayton and sons- Oakland (7yrs. old) and Tatum (5 yrs. old) to our L-town 4th Ward Ohana and more importantly Uheina to our L-town 4th Ward Relief Society. Both Clayton and Uheina were raised here in L-town. Uheina was born in Kahuku and after her father graduated from BYUH he set out to find a place to raise his family. They moved to California, Utah, Tonga, and Australia. After Uheina’s youngest sister was born in Australia, Uheina’s father decided that Hawaii would be the best place to settle down. So in the summer of 1991 Uheina and her family moved back to Hawaii and have been here ever since. Uheina and Clayton met in college at BYUH. Uheina’s favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip and she loves eating at The Cheesecake Factory. Sunday is her favorite day of the week because it is the only day that everyone is home and they get to spend quality family time together. When Uheina gets a chance to watch television, she enjoys watching Blue Bloods. Uheina also likes to eat, sleep, and watch movies. However, as a Mom, she doesn’t get much time to sleep or watch movies, so she does a lot of eating(hehe). Uheina’s most favorite thing to do is to spend time with her boys. They don’t have to do anything special, she just loves being with them. Someday, Uheina would like to learn how to cook. (I,the interviewer is sure Uheina is just being humble coming from a Tongan family...good one Heina!) We are so excited to have Uheina and her family as part of our L-town 4th Ward Ohana and more particularly our Relief Society.
